Convergence Layer: Integration Overview
The Convergence Layer is the atlas of Atlas OS: a living, verifiable map of sovereign communities, contributors, missions, and assets. While the main Convergence Layer page explains the architecture, this section shows how our partner technologies power it in practice.
Integration Focus
Nexus anchors the Sovereign Graph on-chain with verifiable credentials and modular schemas, ensuring that every contributor, mission, and asset is discoverable, interoperable, and provable.
Nexus’s zkVM enables cryptographic proof of updates (role changes, asset transfers, mission completions) without exposing sensitive data.
Its open schema system ensures that sovereign-specific data formats still align with the Global Core Schema for cross-network compatibility.
Nexus Role in the Stack
Core Registry + Verifiability: Nexus serves as the canonical source of truth for the Sovereign Graph.
Data Feeds: Supplies verified graph data directly into the Intelligence Layer, Tokenization Layer, DePIN Layer, and can be extended to the Monetary and Interstate Layers.
API Access: Provides public and permissioned APIs for sovereigns and third-party tools to plug in directly, ensuring their data becomes part of the shared coordination fabric. For example, a sovereign launching a renewable energy mission could use the Convergence Layer’s Nexus-backed API to: • Verify contributor credentials before allocating budget from the Monetary Layer. • Attach mission metadata to an Interstate Layer compact so that other sovereigns can co-fund and track progress in real time.
Early Development Plan
To ensure stability, adoption, and rich data from the start, Nexus integration will roll out in stages:
Phase 1: Sovereign Registry MVP
Launch the verified registry of Network States with basic governance, geography, and stack metadata.
Publish initial schemas to standardize core data.
Phase 2: Contributor Graph
Add contributor profiles with verifiable credentials for skills, roles, and affiliations.
Enable basic search, filtering, and discovery.
Phase 3: Mission Indexing & Schema Expansion
Introduce mission/project schema linking contributors to active initiatives.
Add domain-specific schemas for infrastructure, events, and assets.
Phase 3.5: Monetary & Interstate Hooks
Integrate treasury and inter-network agreement schemas into the Sovereign Graph.
Allow capital flows and treaty commitments to be indexed alongside missions and contributors.
Phase 4: Credentialing Standard Release
Implement the full credentialing API for third-party integrations.
Enable contributors to carry their verifiable reputation across all Atlas-connected sovereigns.
When complete, the Convergence Layer will provide a live, verifiable network map, seamlessly feeding the Intelligence, Tokenization, DePIN, Monetary, and Interstate layers.
